Herefordshire is located within the historic Welsh Marches, a term used to describe English counties that lie along the border of Wales. Being the most rural county in England, it is renowned for its agricultural history. The agricultural history has drastically changed in recent years but, Herefordshire is still famous for its export of Hereford Beef Cattle. You’ll recognise the gentle giant as the mascot for Hereford United Football Club too!

Whilst the largest settlement in Herefordshire is Hereford, just south is the market town of Ross-on-Wye. The town is known for its locally owned shops and market square, where weekly markets are still held. The area is also great for growing families, with spacious new build homes available as well as an excellent choice of local schools for all ages.

Ledbury sits East of the county, known for its architectural mix of Georgian terraces and Tudor buildings.
